And away we go!

So we’re pregnant. And by we I mean Missy. As supportive as I am; as nurturing, understanding, and downright magical as I may be; I can never take credit for the physical act of growing a child inside of me. And thank goodness for that! But yes, we’re (Missy is) pregnant. Now we’ve been trying to get pregnant, so this is not a surprise. There was planning, preparation, and consultation beforehand. But no one expected, least of all me, to succeed in the first month of trying. (I propose we continue to “try” for at least another 2 months, just to be sure.)

And now we begin the 40 week journey (which is already down to 33 weeks) to expand our trio of do-gooders into a super-foursome. We plan on posting just about everything here, so check back often for updates and photos. I think I’ve talked Missy into a weekly photographic belly update, though we’ll have to see how long that holds true. Because Liam was born Cesarean (Hail, Caesar!) we “should” be scheduling the birth, giving us a bit more control over the how’s and when’s. Of course, that all depends on everything going according to plan. And, as anyone who’s ever had a baby can tell you, they never do. So sit back, strap in, and keep your arms and legs inside of the vehicle at all times. Before it’s all said and done, this ride may get a bit bumpy.
